Most of us are familiar with the basics of pairing food with beer or wine, but we can feel a little unsure of ourselves when it comes to pairing food with cocktails.  This is a pity, because food and mixed drinks can enhance each other’s flavours in the same way a slice of smoked Gouda can turn up the volume on a good Cabernet.  Sommelier/Mixologist Kelly Ann Woods leads this seminar on winning strategies for pairing cuisine and cocktails, including a discussion of which spirits work best with which ingredients and cooking methods.  Guests will sample a range of mixed drinks paired with savoury bites from the Wild Wood Pacific Bistro.  Essential research for holiday entertaining, movie nights, or maximizing your next après experience!
